How you use an AI coding assistant in a live coding round

The coding round allows an AI assistant. Before you start, the interviewer asks how you will use it. Explain what you hand to the assistant (boilerplate, lookups, tests) and what you keep for yourself (the approach, the core logic, the edge cases), how you check what it writes, how you keep the interviewer able to follow your reasoning, and what you do when its suggestion is wrong.
