First meeting point of two digit-sum sequences

OpenAICodingLast asked Mar 2026

From a starting number, a sequence grows by adding the sum of the current number's digits (471, then 483, then 498, and so on). Given two starting numbers whose sequences are known to meet, return the first value they share. Both sequences only increase, so advance whichever is behind.
