A timed project assessment in Python rather than a puzzle. You start from a given codebase and build a file replicator: whatever happens in a source directory (files and folders created, changed or removed) must be reproduced in a destination directory, which candidates also describe as copying directories between two remote machines.
The work comes in stages, each checked by its own test cases, and you change the provided scripts to pass them. Candidates call it long for the time allowed, so plan the stages and keep each one passing before moving on.
