Fewest guesses in Wordle with green feedback only

A secret five-letter word must be found, and the only feedback is, for a guess, which positions hold the right letter. Design a guessing strategy that finds the word in as few guesses as possible. Start from brute force, then use a dictionary of candidate words and letter frequencies per position to choose guesses that narrow the candidates fastest.
